The Comhlámh Coming Home Weekend – ‘Sustaining Our Work’
If you have volunteered in the Global South for three motnhs or more, this two-day residential retreat will give you time to reflect on your placement in the Global South, together with other returned volunteers and development workers. It aims to give:
- an opportunity for personal reflection on some of the challenges and highpoints of your time overseas;
- the chance to meet others who have had similar journeys and to collectively consider the impact of your experiences;
- a space where you can link your overseas experience within your ongoing work for global justice, sustaining your active engagement from Ireland.

Global Health Humanitarian and Development Workshop
This weekend is an introductory multidisciplinary training workshop on Health & Development including technical aspects of humanitarian emergency management is being organised by the Health Service Executive Global Health Programme, NUI Galway, Comhlámh, Irish Forum for Global Health, ESTHER Ireland, Irish Aid, Trócaire, GOAL, Concern, MSF and VSO.
